How it works
Enrollment Process
Follow these steps to enroll a new student in Ira ISD.

Create a Parent Portal Account
Create a NEW Parent Portal account and log on. If you are enrolling a sibling, log into your existing Parent Portal and Enroll Student.

Complete Enrollment
Complete the New Student Enrollment Process.

Upload Documents
Upload the necessary documents.

Submit to the School
Submit the completed forms to the school.

Receive Student ID
The office will issue you your Student ID to add them to your Parent Portal Account.

Add Student to Account
Add the student to your Parent Portal account.

Complete Registration Forms
Complete registration forms once the student is active.
Returning Student Registration
Annual Online Registration opens in the Parent Portal for all returning Ira ISD students prior to the start of the new school year. This process is required every year for each child enrolled in the district. Please ensure you are checking the right to transport on emergency contacts.
Transfer Students Notice
Please be advised our transfer window is now closed, and we are not accepting transfers for the 26-27 school year. You may still apply should availability open during the school year.

Eligibility for Free Prekindergarten
What are the eligibility criteria for free prekindergarten?
A child must be at least four years of age by September 1 of the current school year and meet at least one of the criteria such as being unable to speak and comprehend English, being educationally disadvantaged, or being the child of an active duty member of the armed forces.
